What are some good small pets? besides a hamster?

I had 2 hamster for 2 years and the 2nd one died recently and I want to get another small pet. It can be mammals, amphibians anything but a snake!

So many questions just like this one have been answered before.. But I’ll answer it anyway..

Thought about getting a bunny?
They poop a lot, but it doesn’t take long to potty train them (Yes, potty train!)
Rabbits are really good pets, although you have to bunny-proof your house a bit as they can chew through wires and…anything else. (P.S. The bunny poop smells like nothing, although they do it mayne…100 times a day o_o ) But they are very lovable!

I used to have a guinea pig, who was very sweet.
She came from a semi-neglect-ish owner, so she was a bit…traumatized her whole life from when I got her to when she died. They aren’t as…active as rabbits though. They sleep, poop, eat, etc. but don’t run around much. They make adorable (sometimes annoying at 5am) squeaks when they’re hungry though >< I love guinea pigs, but they are a bit smelly, but it's fun to bathe them!

Rats might work aswell, all they do is sit on your shoulder and sleep, so that's quite cute..

If you want a fascinating pet, then go for a camiilian, they clime up your neck and tell you your mood, so you know exactly when he's scared or happy to be around you!
